Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • Zest and juice of 1 orange
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 lb salmon
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 scallion greens only, sliced diagonally

Instructions
 

  • Make the sauce. Add all the ingredients except for the salmon to a cold sauce pan and whisk to combine. Bring heat to medium and allow the glaze to simmer for about 12-15 minutes, stirring occaisionally, until it has reduced. You want the sauce to stick to the back of a spoon.
  • While the glaze is heating, cut the salmon into 1-2 inch pieces and add into a bowl. When the glaze is ready, pour directly over the salmon, reserving a little to drizzle later. Toss the salmon to make sure all pieces are coated on all sides. Add the salmon to a quarter sheet tray with parchment paper, evenly spreading out the pieces.
  • Arrange a rack in the oven at the top, right under the broiler. Broil for about 6 minutes, or until the salmon is done to your liking.
  • Plate with rice and your favorite vegetables. Drizzle any remaining glaze over the salmon and rice. Sprinkle sesame seeds and scallions, and enjoy!
